The part about siafunds is not correct.

There is no way to earn siafunds. Siafunds have been created to fund the project. Initially nebulous labs had all the siafunds (10.000) but they have sold some to inventors to fund development.
I believe they actually did this in an IPO, (i could be wrong though).

What siafund actually does is that it provides you a small portion of every contract. So if you have one siafund and you will get 1/10.000 of 3,9% of every contract. So lets say a contract is made of 1000 siacoin than 39 siacoin will be devided equally amongst all siafund holders.

There are no more than 10.000 siafund and they’re not traded on an exchange. I think Nebulous labs holds somewhere around 8000 siafund. If the siacloud becomes a succes than all siafund holders will benefit. The last time i thought they were sold at around 5000 dollar.
